Help with OVOA

OVOA is a notes app that works with the OVOA Band. There are three ways to make a note:

• Press the button on your Band, talk, and press it again. The recording comes over to your iPhone and becomes a note.
• Tap Record at the top of Notes to record a voice note with your iPhone.
• Tap New Note to type one.

Recordings are written out as text by your iPhone itself. Everything stays on your iPhone, and there's no account to create.

1. Charge your Band and keep it close to your iPhone.
2. In OVOA, open the Band tab and tap Connect Band. The first time, iOS asks to allow Bluetooth.
3. Tap OVOA Band in the list.
4. When your Band vibrates, press its button once to finish pairing.

Your Band remembers one app at a time. If it was set up with another app or phone, like an earlier version of OVOA, tap Pair With This iPhone, then press the Band's button when it vibrates.

If that doesn't work, turn the Band off and on and try again, or remove it in the other app first.

1. Open the Settings app, then Bluetooth.
2. Tap the info button next to your Band (it may be listed as ES100), then Forget This Device.
3. Come back to OVOA and connect your Band again.

• Make sure Bluetooth is on in Control Center, and allowed for OVOA in Settings.
• Make sure the Band is charged and within a few feet of your iPhone.
• In the Band tab, tap Connect. If that doesn't help, turn the Band off and on.

With your iPhone nearby, each recording comes over on its own and appears at the top of Notes. If one was made while your iPhone was away, it comes over the next time your Band connects. You can also tap Check in the Band tab.

To free up space on the Band, tap Free Up Space on Band. It only removes recordings that are already on your iPhone.

• Open the Settings app, then OVOA, and make sure Speech Recognition and Microphone are on.
• In OVOA, open Settings and check that Write Out Recordings is on.
• Open the note and tap Try Again or Write Out.

Recordings made while OVOA is in the background are written out the next time you open it.

OVOA only uses speech recognition that runs on your iPhone, so your recordings never leave it. Some languages don't have an on-device model on every iPhone. Adding the language under Settings, General, Keyboard, Dictation Languages can help. The audio is always saved, so you can still play it back.

While your Band is connected and OVOA is open, the Band takes a reading every few minutes. Tap Measure Now on the Health tab for a reading straight away. Wear the Band snugly against your skin.

OVOA is for general wellness. It isn't a medical device and doesn't diagnose, treat or prevent any condition.

From your iPhone's own motion sensors. Tap Show My Steps on the Health tab and allow Motion & Fitness. OVOA shows the last 7 days and doesn't store them.

No. Your notes, recordings, transcripts and readings stay on your iPhone. There's no account and no analytics. Read the Privacy Policy for the details.

In OVOA, open Settings. Export Notes saves every note as a text file you can share or keep. Delete All Data erases every note, recording and reading and forgets your Band. To delete one note, touch and hold it in Notes.

OVOA's data is included in your iPhone's normal backups to iCloud or your computer, so restoring a backup brings your notes back.
